Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server

The Oracle MTS Recovery Service is automatically installed with Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server.

The Oracle MTS Recovery Service accepts requests to resolve in-doubt MS DTC-coordinated transactions started on this computer.

Enter the port number on which the Oracle MTS Recovery Service will listen for requests on this computer and click Next.

A default port number automatically appears in the port number field. The value displayed is taken from the registry if it exists, otherwise a free port ranging from 49152 to 65535 is chosen.

Ensure that the default port number is not currently in use on your computer. Enter the following command to identify the currently in use ports on your computer:
